Privacy policy
natalchart.co is a free natal chart calculator run by an individual based in Spain. This page explains what happens to the data you give it, on the website and through AI assistants such as ChatGPT or Claude.
Birth data
To draw a chart we need a birth date, optionally a birth time, and a birthplace.
- On the website, the chart is computed inside your browser. Your birth data is not sent to our servers. It only travels in the page address if you choose to share a link to your chart.
- Through an AI assistant (our MCP server at
natalchart.co/mcpor the API atnatalchart.co/api/), the assistant sends the birth data to us, we compute the chart and send it back in the same response. We do not store the birth data, names or results, and we do not log them.
Place lookup
To turn a place name into coordinates we query Nominatim (OpenStreetMap). Only the place name is sent, never a date or a name. Results are cached at the edge by place name so repeated places are not looked up again.
Usage statistics
We count how the service is used so we know whether it is worth maintaining. We use Amplitude for this.
- On the website: page views, sessions, where a visit came from, and three product events (starting a chart, finishing it, clicking a call to action). No birth data is included.
- Through AI assistants: one event per request with the tool used, the language, whether a birth time was given, whether it worked, and which assistant made the call (from its user agent). No birth data, names, places or results are included, and nothing identifies the person using the assistant.
We also use Cloudflare, which hosts the site and keeps standard, short-lived technical logs.
What we never do
- We do not sell or share personal data.
- We do not build profiles or use birth data for advertising.
- We do not ask for accounts, emails or payment details.
Your rights
Because we do not keep birth data, there is nothing stored to access or delete. For anything else about this policy, or to exercise your rights under the GDPR, write to [email protected].
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
